A couple of questions

How can someone choose to spend the weekend out of town with his girlfriend instead of his kids?

He doesn't have custody of them, and barely gets to see them as is.

All he had to do is drive 30 minutes one way to pick them up and he would have had them for the weekend. That was just too much. However, he could drive 3 1/2 hours to Orlando and go to that "U" place that tries to compete with Disney.

How can someone spend $85 on Kobe Beef when he is not in a good financial situation? Not because it's a special occasion, but only because he wanted to try it. All things considered it was nice that he took out his aunt and uncle for their anniversary, but that still doesn't change the fact that he could have been with his kids.

I don't understand how you can blow money on yourself and your girlfriend instead of spending time with your kids and providing for them better.

I just don't get it.

I think some if not all people take a vacation without their children at least once. However, those of us that have done this have stable home lives or the children would not have been with them during that time frame.

On another note, it's Valentines Day, so try to be with the ones you care about. Have a great one and start planning tomorrow to make next years even better.

My First Half Marathon

So it is a week later. 8 Days ago I ran/walked13.1 miles through and around Walt Disney World. It was a spectacular experience, and I can't wait to do it again.

I would like to thank Disney Daddy and the Red Head. Without them, I would have not made it to the finish line. Not only for the motivation, but they also had the map. I would have been lost without them.

I would like to thank Bobo from Manhattan. He supplied me with the Pure White China. Thankfully it was not needed. However, it did make for some fun times later. I have never seen squirrels so confused at Fort Wilderness.

I want to thank Nick Cage, Lee, and Betsey. They made a great cheering section and supplied us with great libations on the run.

I want to thank LMBB. She made it possible for me to run for a truly ridiculous cause. I dedicated my run to her potential illness and damage to her all ready screwed up skin. What a waste of a bib. At least Red got to keep the T-shirt.

I want to thank MoJo. Only she can get pushed into traffic in a wheel chair, and still run 36 miles.

I want to thank Tony. I was able to run in his proxy, and he was able to show the world, that once again, he can be in two places at the same time.

Thanks to the weather forecasters, that were so far off the mark. No one ever mentioned snow, and then it snowed.

The KT Tape people. For taping up my knees, and making a really funky design on Red's leg. I think they just liked touching it.

To the WDW Radio crew. They are great people to be with, and to be around. Can't wait for the next time we all get together.

To Ronda, thanks for pouring doubles and only charging for singles.

and to Hoop-Dee-Doo, for not throwing us out.

In closing, it was emotional roller coaster. We laughed, we cried, and had a great time. Can't wait to do it all over again.

No one ever expects the Spanish Inquisition.
